A couple years back there was a team of artists called The Four Horsemen. And they did awesome work in producing quality designed takes on the original Masters of the Universe – Since then not any one one (let alone two) people made a significant effort to keep the torch lit. Alex Leighton. is currently selling his acrylic on canvas paintings for just $45 US each including postage on his blog; HERE. So far they are all totally different, but really, really cool take on the Masters theme.
However! For the more emo serious take, Marko Djurdjevic has take the Masters of the Universe more along the darker fantasy road.
Also included in this take were color samples of He-Man and Skeletor …
… And these images of what appears to be a maquette/figure sculpt of Skeletor in production.
None of these images/items have anything to do with the recently announced Masters of the Universe Live Action Feature headed up by Kung-Fu Panda Director, John Stevenson- more on that later.
